Pulau Sanghiang Marine Park, West Java.


Pulau Sunghiang is a 750 ha, uninhabitated coral island in the Street of Sunda. The island is surrounded by coral reefs. The vegatation consists of tropical rainforest, swamp forest and mangrove woods.

Pulau Sanghiang is only reachable by boat from Anyer-Kidul. The crossing takes about 2 hours.

No accommodation or food are to be found on the island. Most visitors camp on the beach, despite lots of mosquitos. Be prepared.
