Broad Sanctuary, this 3196 ha and has become a place of arrival of many animal researchers from around the world. Biodiversity including birds Manguni (Otus manadensis) which became the symbol of the Minahasa region, possum bears (Ailurops ursinus), pygmy possum (Strigocuscus celebensis), and kangkareng (Penelopides exarrhatus). Total wildlife conservation are 26 species of mammal, 180 bird species, 15 species of reptiles, and many more.
Mountain rain forest in this region are dominated by tree vegetation Ficus benjamina (Ficus spp), Aras (Duabanga meluccana), Nantu (Palaquim obtusifolium). While in the forest of moss can be found Flower Edelweis (Anaphalis javanicum) and bags of Semar (Nephentes gynamphoru).
