Site Description
A lowland area with about 1,100 ha of undisturbed mangrove swamp. Inland, there are some curious cold mud volcanoes. These have a potential for tourism. There are also some sandy beaches. The landscape is very attractive. It represents a fast disappearing wetland habitat in this region. Principal vegetation: Mangal communities are in good condition. The flora includes Rhizophora, Sonneratia, Bruguiera, Avicennia.
