Telor Dadar Kelapa, spicy omelette with coconut

A delicious “spicy” omelette with coconut.


5 chicken eggs
60 g grated coconut
4 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. gula jawa
2 shallots
1 red lombok
small sprigs of celery
salt and pepper to taste
1 cucumber
4 tomatoes


Mix the coconut with the water and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the shallots finely and Lombok. Cut the cucumber and tomatoes into thin slices and beautiful.

Mix the lombok, chopped celery and shallots add the coconut. Beat the eggs with the salt and pepper, sugar and coconut mixture and let it rest for 10 minutes. After a little while once the eiermengesel whip.

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry or wadjan half of the mixture slowly pan. The omelette is done when the top is set. Let it rest and do the omelette in a bowl and turn the omelet in half.
Repeat this with the other half of the mixture. Garnish omelet with tomato slices and cucumber.

Delicious as an accompaniment to your rice table or …. just the sandwich.
