Tahu tumis kecap, Diced fried tofu in sweet soy sauce

3 blocks tahu / tofu
3 large chilies (preferably green)
5 red chillies (very small peppers
7 shallots
2 white onions
5 cm galangal, bruised
1 serehstengel
2 large tbsp. sweet soy sauce
salt to taste
about 100 ml of water


Cut the tofu into cubes. Heat in a wadjan the oil and fry the tofu is golden brown and stir in the oil. Pour the oil but leave a little oil left in the wadjan. Slice the shallots and the onions and the laos into pieces. Halve the chillies and cut the chilies into fine rings. Heat oil and add the shallots, onions, lemongrass, galangal and chillies and fry for 3 minutes. Add the soy sauce, water, sliced ‚Äč‚ÄčLombok and tofu and let it simmer until liquid is almost evaporated.

Serve with white rice. Selamat makan …..
