1 stalk lemon grass
1 large onion cut into chunks
2 leaves salem
4 hard boiled eggs
2 red chilies
small tin of coconut milk (or a quarter block santen)
2 large tablespoons Shrimp Paste (brand: shrimp boy & fire)-is a kind of shrimp paste syrup which is much in “Thailand” is used. For sale in the better tokos
vegetable oil
salt to taste


Fry the onions and Lombok in the hot oil. Add 2 large tablespoons Shrimp Paste increase along with the coconut milk.

Stir gently until the whole, simmer. (The shrimp paste is very tough) Put the eggs, salem leaves, lemongrass and salt and cook about 3 minutes on a very small fire stand.
