Paha ayam pangang, Roasted chicken with a spicy sauce

Roasted chicken with a spicy sauce


4 chicken legs and some chicken wings
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. sweet soy sauce
little salt to taste
4 cloves garlic
3 cm ginger (djahé) or a large tsp. ginger

Ingredients for the sauce:

1 tbsp. lemon or lime juice
100 ml of water
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 clove garlic
1 tsp coriander
2 tsp. gula djawa or brown cane sugar
3 red chilies


Prepare the ingredients for the paste fine into a nice smooth paste. Mix the paste with the soy sauce, oil and lemon juice and marinate the chicken legs. Leave for 1 hour. Roast the chicken legs over a charcoal fire or in your oven (180c.) slowly cooked in 45 minutes. Do not forget to turn off and the chicken.
