Nasi uduk, Rice steamed in spicy coconut milk

500 gr. rice
3 daun salam (if you’re not in your home, you can also use bay leaves) but ……. this salam leaves have a wonderful fresh lemon flavor)
1 daun pandan (pandan leaf gives a light green color, and vanilla. Fresh and frozen available at better toko)
1 tsp. ground coriander
6 dl. santen
1 tsp. salt

Wash the rice and steam it for about 20 minutes in a steamer half cooked. Tie the daun salam together with daun pandan. Mix in a saucepan with the pandan and the santen salam, coriander and salt to taste and bring to a boil. Stir in the steamed rice by the exhibitors and let it cook on low heat until all liquid is absorbed. Put the rice back into the steamer and steam it in about 30 minutes until tender
