Kembang Col Goreng, Fried cauliflower florets

Fried cauliflower florets.


1 small flower ember

2 eggs
150 gr. flower
2 tbsp. chopped celery
1 tsp. palm sugar (gula jawa)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. djahé (ginger powder)
salt to taste
1 tsp. lime juice
possibly 1 tbsp. water to an even more beautiful and airy batter to get.


Cut the florets from the cauliflower off but make sure it is not too large. Beat the eggs and mix the remaining ingredients for the batter well so that through an airy batter is formed. Carefully spoon the cauliflower mixture.

Heat in a wadjan the oil and fry the cauliflower is golden brown. Let the cauliflower florets briefly drain on a paper towel before serving
