Ikan belado

Ikan beladoIkan-belado


500 g cod fillet
a little wheat flour
5 dl vegetable oil for frying
1/2 a 3/4 dl salad oil
2 medium large onions
3 cloves garlic
2 red chilies
4 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 a 3/4 cup of water


1 tbsp. sambal oelek
2 tsp. cane sugar
salt to taste


Cut the fish into 4 slices, sprinkle a little salt and pull through the wheat flour. Leave a Wajang or fryer cooking oil very hot and fry the fish slices until golden herein. Drain.

Slice the onions and garlic and fry in vegetable oil until soft. Cut the chilies diagonally (as beans) and saute them. Extinguish all with vinegar and water and then add the sambal oelek and sugar. Put the fried fish in and let everything simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes. Selamat makan ….
