Gimbal lembut, Delicious shrimp cakes

200 g shrimp (medium size)
10 tablespoons flour flour
1/2 tsp coriander
5 shallots
a few celery leaves
1 egg
50 ml coconut milk
salt and pepper to taste
vegetable oil


Slice the shallots and celery very fine. Peel the shrimp and cut in small pieces. Beat the egg. Grab a bowl and mix the flour with the coconut milk. Add this mixture to the pepper, salt, coriander, chopped shrimp, egg, shallots and celery.

Take a large spoon some mixture from the bowl and make your (moistened) hands a nice ball. The somewhat flat so get the form of a thick sausage.

Heat in a wadjan the oil and fry the cakes until golden brown.
