500 g lean beef
4 red onions
tamarind (I myself often use the syrup. For sale at the shop)
1 cup thick santen
4 tbsp. sunflower oil
2 red chilies or a large teaspoon sambal oelek
2 kemirienootjes
4 keloewèkpitten (black pit of timboelvrucht)
1 tsp. trassi
1 tsp. ketoembar
½ tsp. cumin
1 slice or ½ teaspoon laos laos powder

Take the herbs. You can do that by them oeleken or finely cut. Meat into cubes. Chop the onions and mix with the spices and the chopped meat.
Roast the whole so that the meat is slightly brown. Add the santen.
Let the dish cook until the oil comes out. Certainly a few hours on a small fire to simmer. Do it now and then some water.
