Bami Kuwa, Noodle soup

Bami KuwaBami-Kuwa
noodle soup. This recipe is for 4 persons approx.


350 grams lean bacon or hamlappen
100 g of peeled shrimps
0.50 can of bamboo shoots
150 g of bean sprouts
100 grams of sliced ​​carrots
0.25 chopped cabbage
3 djerut perut leaves
3 shallots or 1 large chopped onion
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp. trassi
2000 ml of water
Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg


Draw a broth of the meat in a pan along with the djerut perut leaves.

Heat some oil in a sauté the Wajang and trassie, the shallots and garlic. Then cut the meat into small strips and fry them. Then the vegetables to the meat and add salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the remaining broth slowly and let the soup cook slowly.

Cook the noodles until tender and let it drain.
Put some noodles in a soup plate and spoon the broth over vegetables.

Sprinkle as an extra garnish on the soup sliced ​​omelette and very finely chopped celery.
