Munduk Waterfall

Two kilometres north of Munduk is a tiny parking area on a hairpin bend that signifies the entry point to for the powerful Munduk Waterfall.

The walk down the largely concreted path to the waterfall is quite leisurely and only takes about 10 minutes. The path winds its way through dense jungle where it’s possible to see a wide variety of plant and bird life before arriving at a ticket office where the entry fee must be paid. A further 200m on the thundering 25m high waterfall comes into view, spraying right out of the side of the jungle into a shallow-looking pond that you can swim in.

The view at the bottom of the waterfall is a good one, although hardly spectacular, and most people will feel content spending only a few minutes here taking a couple of photos and then returning to their vehicle.
The walk back to the carpark takes the same route as the arrival and is an easy climb for all but the most unfit.
