Riau Penyengat Fort Kursi

Bukit Kursi fort’s shape is rectangle, made of bauxite stone pile without any pilaster. It has 3 m high which is surrounded by ditch (2 m wide). The fort has 8 canons which are spread all around the wind direction, 2 in the southeast, one in the northeast, two in the southwest, 1 in the west, and two in the northwest. This fort also has 4 bastions one on each corner walls. Two bastions are arrow head shaped, and the other two are circular shape. The fort’s wall is made from reef pile about 260 cm high.
