Limbungan lake was originally just a water dam for irrigation purposes. Since the location is surrounded by hills with beautiful natural scenery, this artificial lake developed into a tourist attraction of water for the residents Pekanbaru City and surrounding areas. This place is crowded on Sundays and other holidays.
