Cloth for a sarong. Ye lambalekko. Provenance Loli, West Sumba. This cloth contains a stripe of patterns in lambalekko technique. mamuli and geometrical figures in yellow on a yellow-black background. The lambalekko band is flanked by colored stripes. The main part of the cloth is plain black. Size: 256 cm x 71 cm. Weight 483 grams. (Crus)

Provenance Kodi. Locally referred to as lau wola remba. Handwoven fabric. Consists of three panels sewn together. A cotton sarong that has groups of light blue stripes in warp direction on a black ground. The both ends are adorned with ikat stripes containing motifs in white red and yellow. Condition very good. Appr. 20 years old. Size 147 cm x 64 cm. Double. Weight 378 gr. (Crus)
