Handwoven fabric made of cotton. Consists of two panels sewn together. The yarns used were handspun. Festive or ceremonial sarong. The dark blue middle section of this two-panel sarong is traversed by bright blue warp stripes. On each of the outer panels a wide ikat band with geometric patterns in red and blue against a brown background, obtained by overdyeing indigo with red. The ikat bands are flanked by bright colored stripes. This is followed by narrower ikat and warp stripes, among which an attractive white band. The colors are from natural dyes. Condition very good. Older than 30 years. Size 130 cm x 75,5 cm Width is doubled when opened. Weight 688 gr. (Crus)

The outer sections, near the borders, have a wide ikat band with sharp geometric motifs in red and blue against a brown background, obtained by overdyeing indigo with red. The ikat bands are flanked by bright colored stripes and two ikatted bands. The colors are from natural dyes. Condition very good. Older than 30 years. Size 126,5 cm x 69 cm. Width is doubled when opened. Weight 571 gr. (Crus)
