ingredients:

3 eggs
200 grams sugar (fine sugar cane I personally think the best)
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
7up/spa 1 cup red or sparkling water
250 grams self raising flour or …. and that can also 200gr. flour 1 teaspoon baking powder.
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon cocoa powder

materials
steamer, baking, mixing bowl, whisk, lancing (skewer)

preparation:

Whisk the eggs with the sugar (s) and little salt. Then add the water, and finally the flour. Mix well and make sure there are no lumps in it. Line the steamer with parchment paper inside, not only the soil but also the edges.
Do most of the batter into the remaining batter pan.Door mix the cocoa. This add then to the rest of the batter in the pan. Fold in gently to combine for a marbled effect. Wrap the lid of the steamer a clean tea towel.

Fill the bottom of the pan with water and bring to the kook.Plaats the top with batter on it and close it with the cover with tea towel. Leave on medium heat about 1/2 hours steaming. Make sure the pan does not boil dry. If water must be added, always use boiling water. Check with a (satay) pen or the cake is cooked.

Serve warm, cut into slices and spread the cake thinly with butter. The butter will melt and that is so incredibly delicious. (but you do not know) If you later want to eat, you can just reheat in the steamer.

Still a little warm this indian steamed cake really tasty! Especially since children can not stay!
