Of course the most famous Sayur from Indonesia

750 gr various chopped vegetables such as cabbage, carrots, green beans, long beans, kohlrabi, peas, cauliflower …..
1 large chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
½ block santen
salted water or broth
1 tbsp. cane sugar or gula djawa
Petehbonen 100 g (not necessarily because you need a lover. The Slightly bitter taste)
salt
 

preparation:

Cut the vegetables and boil them in salted water or broth, almost done.
If you use broth as a base, you do not add more salt.
Add the onion, garlic, santen, sugar and petehbonen far. Boil the whole, but …. make sure the vegetables are not too soft. Should certainly remain crunchy.
