Location and Area:

Topography: rolling hills (located on the western slopes of Mt. Wilis) with
field cycle of moderate to steep at the height of mdpl 100-1700. The highest peaks, among others located in the south (areas stakes Blandar Bull and Stone) and in the eastern part (regions very young).

Geology and Soil: geologic formations composed of young volcanic rock while the ground is a complex type of Mediterranean and Litosol highly sensitive to erosion.

Climate:

a. Type C with a value of Q = 57% (Schmidt and Ferguson).
b. The rainfall annual average of 2582 mm with the number of rainy days as much as 142 days.
c. The rainy season occurs from November to May. Temperatures at night ranged from 15-20 -ª C and in the afternoon between 30-35 -ª C.

Things biology
Ecosystem types: tropical rain forest mountains.
Flora: dominated by the pairs (Quercus sondaica), jamuju (Podocarpus imbricatus), Rasamala (Altingia excelsa), control (Radermachera gigantea), wesen (Dodoneca viscosa), Kodokan (Macropanax dispermum), morosowo (Engelhardis spicata), embacang (Mangifera foetida ), puspa (Schima wallichii), salam (Eugenia polyantha), etc..

Fauna: Many species of birds such as rangkok (Buceros rhinoceros), Scaly-breasted falcon (Haliastur indus), king prawn (Halchyon chloris), and Tulum stack (Megalaima javanensis). Some types of mammals such as leopards (Panthera pardus), long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis), leaf monkey (Presbytis cristata), etc..

Accessibility: Madison / Ponorogo – Mliwir (bus / mini bus / transport rural -ª 18km), Lake Ngebel (rural transportation / OJEG) – Hamlet Sekethip (walking distance -ª 10 km) – CA Mount Sigogor (walking distance -ª 2 km).
